My 2026 Mission
I am a motivated and certified clinician using all the newest research in the SLP field to curate my treatment plans. My mission as a clinician is to offer a safe space for English and Spanish speakers to grow. My goal is to provide accessible, culturally affirming speech-language therapy across all settings.
Get to Know me
What inspired you to pursue a career in speech-language therapy, and what do you find most rewarding about your work?

I first became interested in the field of SLP when I was 18 in high school and did not know what I wanted to major in college. My mom recommended SLP to me, and I thought “sounds good!” What I didn’t expect was to immediately LOVE the field. I found myself looking forward to my SLP classes (even if they were at 8am on a Friday). I gravitate toward helping people across the lifespan…. This job is perfect for that.

Can you share a memorable success story from your time working with clients that highlights the impact of speech-language therapy?

I had a stroke patient who was on a feeding tube for 5 years! My favorite memory/ success story is weaning him off the feeding tube so much so that after months of therapy my patient and I worked up to eating three meals a day.

What are your favorite techniques or tools to use during therapy sessions, and why do you find them effective?

With children, I enjoy the act of giving them the freedom to choose the tools/activities they would like to engage in. Anything can be used for speech therapy!

What are your hobbies or interests outside of work that help you relax and recharge?

Yoga! It allows me to give gratitude, engage in a form of movement, and relax/recharge whenever I need to.
