Do you accept insurance?

At this time, we currently accept all forms of a variety of insurance plans; visit the "our services" tab for more information! If we do not accept your insurance, we are considered an "out-of-network" insurance provide and would be happy to provide you with a superbill. A superbill is a detailed document that you can submit to your insurance company when seeking reimbursement for therapy services.

Please note that a superbill does not guarantee reimbursement from your insurance provider. It is the responsibility of the caregiver to contact their insurance provider prior to beginning services to determine the benefits outlined in their plan and secure any necessary pre-authorizations. Reference our information below to help guide you through your conversation with your insurance provider.

Determining out-of-network benefits

When calling your insurance company, ask a representative the following questions:

Does our plan include reimbursement for out-of-network services?
If yes - Does it cover habilitative speech therapy? (CPT code/s: 92507 and 92523).
If yes - Is pre-authorization required? Who do I need a pre-authorization from?

Is there a list of accepted and/or excluded diagnoses? (For example: language delay, autism, stuttering, etc.)
Is there a max number of sessions per calendar year?
What is our deductible and co-insurance for out-of-network services?

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept electronic forms of payment (debit card, credit card) at the time of service.

A card must be kept on file to process these payments.

Is an initial evaluation required?

Yes, an evaluation is required before starting services. This evaluation helps therapists understand the root causes of your child’s communication challenges. Based on the evaluation results, appropriate recommendations and referrals are made, and a tailored care plan is created. If you have a recent evaluation from another provider, it may be accepted along with a parent interview instead of a full assessment, depending on the evaluation date.

What is the process for getting started with therapy services?

You may give us a call (704-750-0675) to briefly discuss your concerns and insurance type. During this call, the clinician will decide if a comprehensive speech-language therapy evaluation is needed and if our practice is the right fit. From there, our office will determine if pre-authorization is needed. Once pre-authorization is obtained (if needed) we will schedule an initial evaluation with our office. There is no obligation with this consultation.

Evaluation sessions last about 60-90 minutes, including a parent interview and a thorough assessment of your child's speech and language abilities. Within 3-5 business days, you'll receive the evaluation results and a comprehensive treatment plan. The treatment plan will be discussed during the first therapy session to ensure alignment with your goals.

How long are the therapy sessions?

Session length varies based on individual goals and care plans. Sessions are typically scheduled for 30 minutes 1-2 times per week, depending on the child's needs and family schedule. Parent education and coaching may be included in sessions to promote carryover and goal progress.
